The top 25 reading list is developed by the Georgia Center for the Book. It includes books written about Georgia, or about the state’s history, and works by authors who were residents of or have lived in Georgia. The goal of this list is to promote reading and discussion of Georgia’s rich literary tradition. To this end, the list includes both fiction and nonfiction titles. In addition to promoting reading and discussion, the list includes recommended reading lists and reading materials that have been reviewed by Georgians.
